Support the Senior Manager and Financial Controller in delivering high-quality Global Practices Record-to-Report (R2R) operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong balance sheet governance, effective stakeholder management and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and oversee end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) operations for Global Practices, ensuring timely and accurate execution of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
Manage a team responsible for accrual accounting, prepayments, intercompany accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, BlackLine certifications, management reporting and period-end submissions.
Review and approve key R2R deliverables including journal entries, reconciliations, accrual analysis, balance sheet commentaries, reporting packs and BPC submissions prior to stakeholder sign-off.
Drive timely resolution of balance sheet aged items, intercompany mismatches, accrual ageing issues and reporting exceptions through effective stakeholder engagement.
Support Forecast, Budget and MFF cycles by overseeing data accuracy, preparing reporting inputs, analysing variances and coordinating submissions through planning systems.
Establish and monitor operational KPIs, service levels and quality standards across the R2R team to ensure consistent delivery excellence.
Manage team capacity, workload planning and performance management while providing coaching and technical guidance to team members.
Partner with Financial Controllers, Finance Business Partners, Shared Services and other stakeholders to improve process effectiveness and enhance reporting quality.
Drive continuous improvement, automation and standardisation initiatives across R2R processes leveraging D365, BlackLine, BPC and SAC platforms.
Coordinate and support internal and external audit requirements by ensuring timely delivery of schedules, reconciliations, documentation and management responses.
Professional Qualification and Experience
Qualified Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of post-qualification experience
Proficient in IFRS and other technical accounting.
Strong experience in Record-to-Report (R2R), Financial Close, Financial Reporting, Balance Sheet Governance and Revenue/Accrual Accounting.
Hands-on experience managing month-end close, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, reporting and planning cycles.
Experience reviewing BlackLine reconciliations, BPC/SAC submissions and supporting audit requirements.
Strong knowledge of D365, SAP BPC, SAC and BlackLine platforms preferred.
Proven people leadership experience including coaching, performance management, workload management and stakeholder engagement.
Experience driving process standardisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives including AI / RPA within global finance operations would be a plus.
