What is Manager Financial Reporting?

Manager Financial Reporting encompasses a deep understanding of end-to-end financial reporting processes, knowledge and expertise for managing the financial closing process and ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards & Group reporting guidelines. The role reports directly to ‘Head of Record to Report’ and will be part of a 6-member team.

What does Manager Financial Reporting do?

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting cycle, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely delivery of financial results.
• Oversee accounting and reporting activities across business divisions, subsidiaries, and legal entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, applicable regulations, and Group accounting policies.
• Review and monitor General Ledger and Revenue Reporting processes, ensuring achievement of defined KPIs, quality financial reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure an effective internal control environment, including compliance with SOX requirements, proper documentation, and timely remediation of control gaps.
• Lead the preparation and review of group reporting packages, statutory financial statements, management reports, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assess the impact of new accounting standards, regulatory changes, and business initiatives on financial reporting and accounting treatments, and coordinate implementation with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage coordination with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely provision of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and resolution of audit observations.
• Drive continuous process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Lead the development and implementation of reporting automation, analytics, and dashboard solutions within Oracle Fusion.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and knowledge sharing, while ensuring operational continuity and service excellence.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Financial Reporting?

• Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA) having complete articles from a reputable audit-firm and with minimum 6-8 years of related work experience, including Telecom Industry.
• Must have good working knowledge of Accounting (IFRS), Financial Reporting processes and ERP (Oracle Fusion).
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Demonstrate interpersonal and communications skills.
• Exhibit excellent teamwork & collaboration.
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Multitasking in a fast-paced environment
