About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manager, Financial Governance, Tax & Services to join our Finance team at RHB Banking Group. This role supports daily financial operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and contributes to strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

What you will be doing

Prepare financial statements and management accounts for subsidary
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
Review and analyse balance sheet and profit and loss accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including IFRS/FRS and internal accounting policies.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
Support corporate tax, withholding tax, GST/VAT and deferred tax reporting requirements.
Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation and management responses
Participate in finance transformation, automation and system enhancement projects.
Support Head of Finance and Section Head in relation to financial reporting

What we're looking for

3–5 years of experience in external audit, tax, and financial reporting
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficient in MS Excel; Big 4 experience is an advantage
Resourceful, independent, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
