The opportunity:
Being part of HSBC in Switzerland, you’ll help evolve and grow our business.
Our Financial Crime (FC) Function sits in the Second Line of Defence (2LoD) and brings together independent Risk Stewards and specialist capabilities across intelligence, analytics, technology, detection and investigation. We provide robust oversight and constructive challenge to the First Line of Defence (1LoD), helping to ensure that FC risks are identified, managed and controlled effectively and consistently.
FC risk is a key non-financial risk, spanning areas such as fraud, money laundering, bribery and corruption, sanctions, terrorist and proliferation financing, export controls and tax evasion. We operate in line with HSBC Group’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) — and our work has real-world impact, protecting customers and safeguarding trust in the banking system.
Are you interested? Do you have experience in FC Risk management advisory? Do you enjoy being part of a cohesive team?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, we want to hear from you!
What you will do:
As a Manager in Financial Crime, you’ll help strengthen the end-to-end oversight of the FC control environment by turning data, reporting and reviews into clear, decision-ready insight. You’ll support the delivery of core stewardship activities such as governance pack production, trend and heatmap analysis, issue and action tracking, and read-across from assurance outputs so that key themes and vulnerabilities are surfaced early and addressed. You’ll also contribute to the upkeep of Global FC policy and supporting guidance, helping drive consistency in how the FC framework is applied across markets, while partnering with stakeholders to progress change initiatives and improve risk outcomes.
