As a manager financial control - sourcing & procurement, you play a key role in coaching the team and managing the accounting, analysis, and reporting for the various activities within the Finance Operations Inventory & Manufacturing department. Role and responsibilities

You will join the finance operations Europe team, which is part of ASML Business Services (ABS). The Finance Operations team is responsible for the accounting of the financials, performing internal controls, providing valuable data insights, narrating the story behind the numbers and driving improvements that really make a difference!

You’ll be reporting to the senior manager of finance operations Inventory & Manufacturing and collaborating with other (finance) departments and external partners such as auditors. Your contributions will help shape the future of our finance operations department and play a vital role in driving ASML's success.

As a manager financial control, you will use your expertise to ensure accurate accounting, lead and develop your team, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous process improvement. You will also play an important role in the transition to our future ERP landscape. In this dynamic, international environment, you will help shape a world-class end-to-end Record-to-Report process that strengthens compliance, builds digital capabilities, advances automation and AI-enabled ways of working, and improves management accounting to support better decision-making.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead a team of 3 FTE finance professionals and support their performance, development, and growth
  • Ensure accurate and timely internal and external reporting in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations
  • Execute, assess, and strengthen the internal control framework and SOx controls for relevant processes
  • Guide the team in adopting new technologies and ways of working and drive innovation while maintaining strong governance, risk awareness, and compliance
  • Build a strong understanding of the end-to-end process and reflect this in high-quality reporting, analysis, and business commentary
  • Develop a strong stakeholder network and represent Finance Operations with influence and credibility
  • Support external audits by ensuring a smooth and well-prepared audit process

Education and experience

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 8-12 years of solid experience in finance or accounting, ideally within a financial control setting
  • A Master’s degree in finance or accounting, along with being a Chartered Accountant or Controller (CPA/RA/RC)
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing teams
  • A good grasp of US GAAP and IFRS
  • Understanding of internal controls and SOx compliance
  • Working experience in an international or multinational environment
