
Responsibility:
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records including ledgers, journals, trial balances, and financial statements (parent & subsidiaries).
• Oversee monthly financial closing, including accruals, amortizations, depreciation, and reconciliations.
• Manage and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
• Supervise reconciliation of accounts and manage fixed assets, development costs, and tenant billing for real estate operations.
• Coordinate budget and forecast support to ensure alignment with strategic financial planning.
• Consolidate financial data and reporting packages to reflect the group’s financial position.
• Enforce adherence to IFRS, tax regulations (VAT, WHT, Zakat), and company financial policies.
• Monitor and maintain internal control systems and financial system security.
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance across all entities.
• Supervise accounting staff, promote professional development, and maintain high operational effectiveness.
• Manage accounts department productivity and efficiency.
• Implement corrective actions to strengthen internal controls and financial practices.
• Collaborate with Senior Finance Controller (SFC) and line managers on financial matters.
• Report monthly and quarterly financial performance to executive management and business units.
• Train accounting teams on compliance, internal controls, and financial policies.
• Act as key liaison with external auditors, regulators, and tax authorities.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports to shareholders and stakeholders.
• Uphold corporate governance standards and ethical practices to build trust with external partners.
• Engage with business leaders, auditors, and investors to support transparency and smooth financial operations.
• Maintain clarity and responsiveness in financial communications and disclosures.
• Regularly assess and improve internal controls and financial systems.
• Recommend updates to the chart of accounts tailored to real estate development needs.
• Implement system upgrades to enhance financial security and data accuracy.
• Develop and update financial policies and internal control procedures.
• Support alignment of financial management with corporate strategy and long-term value creation.
• Advocate for ethical financial practices and innovation in reporting and system use.
