As a senior member of the OptumRx CPS Outpatient Finance team, this position will report to the Sr Director of Finance and play a key role as the financial advisor and strategic partner to the business Executive and Senior Vice Presidents.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the review and renegotiation of site contracts. Provide financial insight and recommendations to operational management on contractual issues and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
  • Build solid working relationships with key customer stakeholders (Hospital Admin, Hospital CFO and team, DOPs/HSD) to optimize financial results. Gain buy-in and credibility for desired financial outcomes through timely and accountable actions. Deliver a high level of customer service to external clients
  • Manage and conduct financial analysis for all client requests (i.e. Expansion ROI, regulatory impacts, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain operational KPIs to track business performance, inform future forecasts, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested by Sr. Finance leadership. Perform quality assurance and testing on new application development or enhancements
  • Be responsive to concerns or requests of other CPS employees, Hospital staff, and clients
  • Maintain employee and patient confidentiality

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant, high-impact financial experience
  • Experience communicating complex thoughts in a clear, concise, and timely manner both in written and oral form
  • Proven data and analytics as a core competency
  • Proven ability to work independently with key business executives (Finance, Operations, Sales, Payer, etc.) to evaluate business processes and key drivers of operational and business performance
  • Proven ability to anticipate issues, assess implications and implement appropriate action plans
  • Proven ability to lead conversations with executive team members to discuss performance results, promote engagement and drive results
  • Demonstrated combination of creativity and discipline applied to execution of scalable new growth initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven solid analytics background and attention to details
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization and with cross-functional partners

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
