
The Manager, Finance role requires a strategic and results-driven leader focused on establishing best practices, optimizing processes, enhancing automation, strengthening internal controls, and delivering best-in-class service. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Accounts Payable and Expense functions, including leading and developing team members, managing workflows, ensuring financial deadlines are met, and maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of payments and expense processing. The role partners with key stakeholders to support cash flow management, drive operational efficiencies, and lead departmental initiatives. Throughout all responsibilities, the Manager, Finance is expected to champion AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values while upholding the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and service excellence.
Lead, train, develop, and oversee the AP, Expense Audit, and Travel team to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
Manage daily Accounts Payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, workflow efficiency, and resolution of complex issues.
Ensure financial deadlines are met and maintain strong service levels for internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with Treasury and Procurement to forecast cash outflows, manage payment schedules, and support cash flow planning.
Prepare, analyze, and deliver financial, KPI, budget, and ad hoc management reporting.
Develop, implement, and maintain AP, expense management, travel, and corporate card policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, audit standards, and company policies; support internal and external audit activities.
Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and standardization initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead onboarding and integration activities for newly acquired entities related to AP, expenses, travel, and payment processes.
Manage budgets, assess financial risks, and provide strategic recommendations to support business decisions and long-term planning.
Maintain awareness of industry trends, best practices, and market developments related to payments, expense management, and travel services.
Oversee corporate travel programs, vendor relationships, and negotiations to optimize cost, service, and traveler experience.
Administer corporate card programs, including applications, activations, terminations, fraud management, spend analysis, and billing reconciliations.
Provide executive travel support, expense report auditing, and related communications as required.
Support corporate event planning and other department initiatives as needed.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
