Role and Scope of Position:
Manager, Transmission & Distribution Projects:
Responsible for the implementation of company-wide safety management systems, safety programs and policies directed at monitoring and improving safety performance and compliance consistent with Company objectives and government regulations. Supports safety efforts associated with Capital Projects associated with Distribution and Transmission Electric Operations. Serves as liaison, principle contact and partner for key customers to increase their safety knowledge of safety management systems, safety programs and policies and supports assessment and reductions of risks that their teams encounter. Manages the implementation of the Contractor Safety standard and development of contractor safety oversight strategies. Responsible for the safety inspections, observations and auditing programs and providing meeting topics to support the growth of the safety culture in the Transmission and Distribution Capital Projects operating areas.
