• Successful implementation of key strategic products / crop / segment strategy in the Cluster – core activity.
• Steer placement & liquidation strategy in coordination with Head of Sales & Sales Team in accordance with crop segment strategy.
• Facilitate the sales team in achieving their objectives / budgets / targets through:
• Competitor activity tracking- New launches, upcoming launches, pricing, growth, innovative campaigns etc
• Close watch on crop trends- Pest disease/ area / new development etc.
o Enriching their product knowledge. Preseason training for team of field assistants/TM’s for focused crops with sharp focus on key products.
o Monitoring liquidation campaign with specific objectives like – fast liquidation, demonstrations and farmer meets, field days etc
o Utilizing promotional inputs timely such as leaflets, posters, banners, POP
o Propose for Demo samples and get formal approval from ZO/HO.
o Monitoring of “sales promotion” budgets at Cluster, Region and Territory level depending upon the potential and priorities.
• Develop market intelligence & knowledge conducive to business development, by assessing the regional crop wise / product wise potential and existing market size.
• Give timely communication of relevant marketing information and also submit weekly, monthly marketing reports for review.
• Maintain rapport with Agricultural institutes, Research Stations, KVKs.
• Provide guidance in arranging “Product / Strategy meets” and “Trade Meets”.
• Implementation of promotional budget based on HO direction.
