As we continue to evolve our data and analytics capabilities, we are looking for a Manager, Business Analysis to play a key role in shaping how data drives decision-making across our organization.

Reporting to the Contract Manager, FHCPS (Federal Health Claims Processing Service), the Manager, Business Analysis leads the delivery of business analysis services and data-driven solutions that support partner organizations and internal stakeholders.
This role is responsible for ensuring business needs are clearly understood, translated into actionable requirements, and delivered through high-quality reporting, data, and system solutions. The Manager plays a critical role in aligning business objectives with technology and data capabilities, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with service standards.
What you’ll do
As Manager, Business Analysis, you will lead the delivery of business analysis and data solutions that enable informed decision-making and operational excellence. You will:
Lead and manage a team of Business and Data Analysts, providing direction, coaching, and technical guidance
Oversee the delivery of reporting, dashboards, and data extracts using modern BI tools (including Power BI)
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and ensure high-quality delivery of solutions
Plan and manage project activities across the full lifecycle, including scope, timelines, and stakeholder alignment
Ensure service requests are prioritized and delivered in line with established standards and expectations
Build strong relationships with business partners, IT teams, and external stakeholders to support collaboration and effective outcomes
Promote best practices in data governance, reporting standards, and self-serve analytics
Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and data solutions to better meet business needs
What You Bring
Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Strong experience in business requirements gathering, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement
Proficiency with data and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, SSRS, DAX, tabular models)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Language Skills: English is required; bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
Security Clearance: Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B). This includes Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizenship Status.
Assets:
Experience with enterprise data environments or data governance
Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or equivalent

Pay Range:
88,158 - 99,177 CAD
The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
