of Role
The Manager FDS Data & Reporting will be responsible to partner with financial stakeholders to evaluate and define reporting requirements, to design and develop reporting solutions that leverage financial reporting platforms, and to support validation of foundational data products that can be used for finance and enterprise-wide reporting initiatives.
The Financial Data Systems (FDS) team ensures global financial data reliability, control and integrity surrounding technical, process and reporting solutions. This group is responsible for development, deployment, and maintenance of all Hershey financial processes. Decisions and actions of this department affect the efficiency and effectiveness of transaction processing, financial analysis and reporting used across Hershey.
With Hershey’s global expansion and significant investment in financial system solutions, such as SAP S4 and Blackline, and financial reporting platforms (UDP, Datasphere, etc.), this group plays a key leadership role in defining sustainable and controlled process solutions and reporting capabilities. This position demands knowledge of Hershey’s global operations, systems and accounting requirements. A successful candidate will be able to combine new technology, data governance principles and an understanding of business reporting requirements to deliver optimized reporting solutions.
