What You’ll Do
As a Manager of FDE, you’ll hit the ground running and make an immediate impact by driving high-visibility projects that push the business forwardYou will play a key role in building scalable, user-friendly solutions that power critical business operations while architecting enhancements that drive growth and automate complex workflowsAs a hands-on technical expert, you will solve complex technical challenges and leverage the full potential of Force.com to deliver high-impact resultsYou will manage agile pod velocity and quality by collaborating cross-functionally to design, develop, and optimize custom Salesforce applications that improve how we engage with our customers and drive revenueActing as a coach and mentor, you will provide the autonomy and support for your team to build real solutions with real impact, fostering an environment that values innovation and growthFinally, you will serve as a bridge between technical and business functions, strategizing and analyzing work that shapes the future of the product and the company.

Complete Sitetracker product training and gain a deep understanding of our core architecture and deployment workflows.
Establish strong working relationships with your pod members and cross-functional partners in Product and Customer Success.
Assume full management of the FDE pod’s backlog and begin leading daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.
Successfully lead the pod through a major platform enhancement or high-visibility customer deployment project.
Implement a measurable improvement in pod velocity or code quality through process optimization or automation.
Conduct career development planning for all direct reports, identifying clear growth paths for each engineer.
Work with customers to gather requirements and be able to explain your solutions in a simplified non technical way
Determine the best path to architect solutions and build out enhancements
Act as the team representative for core features that you have developed
Develop Lightning Web Components and build out full scale applications for customer use

Ramp up new hires and begin participating in the new hire interview process
Become a recognized technical authority within the company, influencing the broader FDE strategy and product roadmap.
Scale the capabilities of your pod to handle increasingly complex and large-scale global infrastructure deployments.
Achieve a high level of team retention and engagement through consistent coaching and technical leadership.
Contribute customizations and standardizations to the core product
Develop on the core product for customer suggested features
Build, architect, and maintain existing and new features for customer functionality
Develop large scale modules in a generic way so that we can extend and enhance the Sitetracker product
