This position oversees Maintenance, Life Safety, Regulatory Compliance, Emergency Response, and Grounds operations at assigned locations. This position will lead the assigned location to establish consistent standards and promoting systemness within the System Maintenance Department. Responsibilities include maintaining digital files to ensure department-wide access to critical data at any time, supporting operational transparency and productivity. The role will also strategically integrate predictive maintenance and AI-driven technologies into maintenance processes to enhance efficiency and decision-making from a system perspective. The position collaborates closely with the System Maintenance Manager, System Engineering Manager and Capital Construction Project Managers in developing and managing projects.

  • Support the Engineering & Maintenance department by managing digital files, preventive maintenance programs, and key administrative systems.
  • Coordinate and assist with facility projects from planning through completion including capital projects, shutdowns, and building systems updates.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and life-safety standards by maintaining required documentation, participating in safety committees, and developing action plans.
  • Oversee or support emergency response planning, grounds maintenance, equipment specifications, and resource-sharing strategies across the Health System.
  • Help manage budgets, prepare reports, and work with system leaders and outside agencies to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement.


Required Certification/License/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a AAS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field Preferred
  • Minimum of five years' relevant experience as an E&M Manager/Supervisor or Construction Manager Preferred
  • Minimum of three years' relevant experience working in hospital facilities and/or hospital maintenance management or hospital construction management position.
