The opportunity
We are looking for a Manager: Data, AI and Capability Transformation to join our growing Academy team. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading organizations across the region to design and deliver large-scale capability transformation initiatives that support organizational priorities, national agendas and workforce modernization efforts.
Your key responsibilities
Capability Transformation and Advisory
- Conduct capability assessments, workforce diagnostics and skills gap analyses to identify development priorities and future workforce requirements.
- Design capability development strategies, learning architecture and competency-based frameworks aligned to business objectives.
- Translate business challenges into practical capability development solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
Data and AI Capability Solutions
- Lead the development of learning solutions across Data Literacy, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Data Governance and Emerging Technologies.
- Design structured learning pathways for executives, managers, specialists and technical professionals.
- Continuously evaluate market trends, emerging technologies and industry developments to refresh portfolio offerings.
- Collaborate with global EY teams, industry experts and technology partners to develop innovative capability-building solutions.
- Support organizations in building AI readiness and accelerating technology adoption through targeted learning interventions.
Learning Design and Innovation
- Design impactful learning journeys that incorporate classroom learning, virtual delivery, coaching, mentoring, assessments and experiential learning.
- Develop modular content including session plans, simulations, labs, and case-based learning
- Leverage modern learning methodologies to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Utilize learning analytics and impact measurement frameworks to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure learning solutions reflect global leading practices and EY quality standards.
Business Development and Client Engagement
- Support proposal development, solution design and client presentations for capability transformation opportunities.
- Contribute to revenue growth through account expansion, cross-selling and identification of new opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders across government, financial services and corporate sectors.
- Participate in client meetings, workshops and strategic discussions to understand capability challenges and recommend tailored solutions.
- Support the development of commercial proposals, statements of work and project plans.
Facilitation & Executive Engagement
- Lead high-impact workshops and executive sessions across senior management and leadership cohorts
- Translate complex AI, data, and analytics concepts into practical, business-relevant outcomes
- Facilitate discussions to identify AI opportunities, efficiency gains, and decision enhancements
- Support leadership alignment on AI adoption roadmaps
- Monitor project performance, risks, budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure programs are delivered in accordance with EY methodologies, quality standards and client expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement through learner feedback, client insights and delivery analytics.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline, with demonstrated understanding of AI, data, and digital transformation concepts
- 8–12 years of relevant experience across consulting, AI and data-driven transformation, capability building, and digital adoption, with hands-on exposure to AI solutions, workflow design, and automation use cases
- Experience managing complex learning, transformation or organizational capability initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience working with government entities, large corporates or financial institutions.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience in proposal development and business development activities.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Bachelor’s degree in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field
- Master’s or PhD preferred, especially in AI or related areas
- MBA is a strong plus, especially alongside a technical background
- Strong academic background from a leading university preferred, for example:
Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, LSE, UCL, INSEAD, LBS, IE, HEC, Harvard, MIT, Stanford or similar
- Certifications in teaching, facilitation or learning design are highly valued
- Relevant AI certifications (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI) are a plus
