The role is responsible for assisting the CFO and AGM-F&A to:
Ensure timely budget preparation
Timely and proper financial reporting
Ensure tax compliance
Ensure timely internal and external audits
This position will report to AGM - F&A
Accountabilities
KPIs
Month end process & reporting
Prepare Monthly MIS, provisional financials, variance analysis and proper reporting to management
Financial Reports
Preparing Cash Flow, Balance Sheet & Profit and Loss statement under IND AS, debtors’ aging and other financial reports. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Accounting Oversight
Closely monitor day-to-day accounting activities of finance executives and support AGM-Finance and CFO in ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions including maintenance of financial records, ledgers, and journal
Taxation & Compliance
Ensure monthly compliance of GST, TDS and other as per management requirement. Preparation of data for direct/ indirect tax assessment Manage relationships with taxation and GST Authorities Must have knowledge of lower TDS application and process
Audit
Assist in smooth execution of Statutory audit, Tax audit, and Internal audits. The incumbent must be well versed with handling queries of Auditors.
Customer and vendor management
Manage various payment milestones and scenarios (cancellations, non payment, reissues, etc) for ~1,500 customers Aging analysis and reconciliation Manage payments for multiple vendors and service providers
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Analysis
Support AGM-Finance and CFO in feasibility analysis, business case preparation, financial modeling, etc for multiple upcoming projects and opportunities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities
GST and other Tax authorities

Chartered Accountant / MBA-Finance
10-15 years of relevant experience
Understanding of Financial accounting
Experience of Accounting Package
Attention to Detail: Ensuring that financial reports are error-free and comply with relevant regulations
Ability to analyze and draw insights from financial data
Experience in preparing investor presentations, lender models, etc
Familiarity with MS office, SAP
Experience of managing small teams (2-4 members)
