This position serves as a primary advisor to the Dean in implementing the strategic vision for Jones College through external engagement and the delivery of high-quality events and client-facing professional programs.
The position leads the Dean’s outreach efforts and serves as a primary contact for corporations, business associations, advisory board members, community partners, program participants, sponsors, and other external stakeholders. The position collaborates closely with the Development Director and other members of the Dean’s staff where stakeholder engagement overlaps with development, communications, and college priorities.
The position plans and manages highly visible college events and professional learning activities, including scheduling, faculty and presenter coordination, logistics, run-of-show, participant materials, contracts and agreements, procurement, budgets, records, reporting, and on-site execution. Responsibilities include advisory council meetings, the Annual Leadership Summit and Awards Ceremony, the Back to Business Bash, the Student Awards and Scholarship Ceremony, conferences, trade shows, and customized courses or programs delivered for external organizations.
The position also serves as a consultation resource for faculty, staff, departments, and centers coordinating events and programs and manages related student, graduate, temporary, or hourly support as assigned.
Master’s degree preferred, Bachelor’s Degree will be considered with additional experience.
With a Master’s degree 2 years of significant experience required in event planning and execution, logistics coordination, effective marketing and client relations (5-years required with Bachelor’s Degree).
