The PeopleSoft ERP Manager’s role is to supervise and maintain the organization’s PeopleSoft application through best practices and the appropriate staffing and management of a technical teamThe PeopleSoft ERP Manager is also responsible for planning and coordinating the processes required for the provision of the PeopleSoft application, interfaces and sub-systemsThis individual will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the user group on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems
The PeopleSoft ERP Manager also functions as a hands-on Project Manager and analyst as neededto support business objectives
Key Responsibilities
Evaluating, installing, configuring, and deployingnew applications, system interfaces, products, and enhancements to the existing PeopleSoft application.
Analyzingdocumentation and technical specifications of application upgrades/enhancements under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality.
Managingthe development and deployment of new PeopleSoft enhancements, upgrades, interfaces and related systems.
Ensuringthat development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Leading and managing the performance of theapplication teamand external resourcesin support of business operations.
Liaisingwith network administrators and software engineers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and data processing.
Reviewing and analyzingexisting applications’ effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
Developingand communicatingtraining and documentation for end users, hold clinics as necessary, and other user-related activities.
Supportingcommitment to safety and other selected company standards and certifications

Education and Experience
Four-year college degree with six yearsPeoplesoftERPexperience(must be from an accredited institution) ortwelveyearsPeoplesoftERPexperiencewithouta college degree
Technical Skills andCompetencies Required
Demonstratedabilityin leading staff and cross-functional teams.
Proven experience in overseeingorleadingthe design, development, and implementation of major PeopleSoft enhancements and/or upgrades
Strong functional expertisein at least3 PeopleSoft disciplines
Working knowledge of the PeopleSoft architecture and database organization.
Thorough understanding of Excel, Query, Crystal, SQL and other business tools.
Proven experience in the operation and analysis of database, hardware, software, and standards, and data retrieval methodologies.
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Strong customer-service orientation.
Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
