Job Description

The Manager, Enterprise & Financial Partnerships – Europe plays a critical commercial role in driving incremental revenue, member engagement, and long‑term value through Marriott’s Enterprise and Financial partnerships across Europe.

The role is responsible for supporting the expansion and end-to-end management of a diverse and growing European partnership portfolio, supporting the management and activation of Marriott’s financial partnership portfolio, including co‑brand cards and payment network partnerships. This includes delivering initiatives that drive credit card acquisitions, cardmember spend, and everyday engagement with the Marriott Bonvoy programme, as well as supporting the ongoing management of relationships with key issuers and payment network partners.

The role also supports selected enterprise partnerships that drive demand, enrolment, and Marriott Bonvoy brand relevance across Europe. Working closely with Senior Managers and the Director, this role helps shape partner strategies, leads commercial activations, evaluates performance against financial and strategic KPIs, and supports the development of new partnership opportunities across priority European markets

Expected Contribution

Partnership Management & Governance

  • Act as Marriott’s day‑to‑day point of contact for partners, as determined by the Director / Senior Manager, Partnerships, including leading the day‑to‑day management of partnerships in Europe.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of partner objectives, strategies, and organisation, alongside a strong working knowledge of all relevant contracts, agreements, and obligations.
  • Work with legal teams to complete NDAs and partner agreements.
  • Lead the partner Security Engagement Review process.
  • Organise and support partner meetings and events as required.

Partnership Activation & Campaign Execution

  • Lead and support the setup of partner campaigns and offers (e.g. campaign and offer development, brief submissions, internal ticket creation, bonus and source code requests, T&Cs, landing page creation, and marketing asset development).
  • Help develop the partner activation plan and manage its day‑to‑day implementation, including project management of joint initiatives, communications planning, budget management, regular partner status updates, and agency management where appropriate.
  • Support image sourcing requirements and ensure partner imagery and logos are uploaded and categorised within Marriott asset management libraries.

Business Development & Growth

  • Provide ongoing support to internal stakeholders to engage with partner opportunities, including leveraging partner media and creating joint marketing programmes with assigned partners to address business needs.
  • Support the Director of Partnerships and Senior Managers, Partnerships to identify and research new partner sectors and opportunities, build compelling business cases, support sell‑in across both businesses, and integrate new partnerships into the portfolio.
  • Work with relevant global and regional stakeholders to secure appropriate resources to support partner activities.

Operational, Issue & Compliance Management

  • Audit and monitor all partner and Marriott channels to ensure information is accurate and aligned with contractual commitments and applicable financial regulations.
  • Respond to and manage partner technology, fraud, and invoicing requirements and issues.

Reporting & Financial Management

  • Track and measure the value to Marriott of each partner and update internal and partner reporting accordingly.
  • Support budget management including budget allocation, PO requests, invoice processing, partner commission and points/miles payments, and quarterly reporting.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

  • 2 years experience in relationship management, business development, partner marketing, or a related commercial role.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally and across multiple departments within a matrixed organisation.
  • Familiarity with Marriott lodging products and brands preferred; broader hospitality or loyalty experience advantageous.
  • Understanding of the European commercial landscape, particularly continental Europe.

  • Comfortable working with and influencing stakeholders across all levels of management.
  • Demonstrates professional judgement and demeanour, acting as a strong representative of the brand and Marriott values.

Delivery & Ways of Working

  • Strong project management capability with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify areas where processes can be streamlined and implement.
  • Ability to work well with campaign delivery systems is essential e.g. workfront.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to operate with a high degree of independence while remaining team‑oriented.

Education & Languages

  • University degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
  • High proficiency in English required; additional European language skills desirable.

Tools & Mobility

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Copilot).
  • Willing and able to travel, including internationally, as required.
