Job Description

  • Project Management – Lead in standardization /deployment of PM methodologies & Support to execute Project work with units Engineering, production, and quality team within define project.
  • Implement innovative solutions to increase the Automation Index of the factories (line efficiencies, Quality and Safety)
  • Implement and Standardize engineering Practices.
  • To lead project from concept to commissioning through proposal making and detailing within define project.
  • Entail bringing in new development in process.
  • To lead and execute, implement & ensuring standardization of design for Bottling line related to packaging equipment and end-to-end project management within budget, timeline and in line with PR guidelines on EHS within Define projects.
  • Implement various automation / efficiency enhancement initiatives in the bottling units Own & Sub lease Units.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management (Bottling Units, New lines, new machines, Capacity Increase):

  • Coordinate with contractors / vendors for work progress at site, review the progress with respect to planned cost, quality, and time schedule, provide support in resolving their problems.
  • Lead and Provide assistance to unit project team for Overall bottling line related Project execution (FAT, I &C ,SAT ) within define project
  • Act as the key contact to collaborate with vendors and other stake holder to fully defines all necessary aspects of the delivery.
  • Review work procedures for compliance with quality systems and statutory requirements to ensure adherence to commitments and achieve planned performance parameters.

Value – Engineering:

  • Analyzing various processes / applications and recommending process modifications
  • Implement cost effective corrective action for capacity limitations & de-bottlenecks.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture relationship with internal clients/ User /PRI unit Team / Consultants/Vendors, take note of customer concerns and initiate corrective actions, play active role to ensure customer satisfaction.

Innovation & Development:

  • Implement innovative solutions to increase existing line efficiencies, Quality and Safety

Training and Handover:

  • Lead and handover asset start up with Qualified parameter and documentation.
  • Work closely with Head office and Vendors and provide feedback.
  • Work on ACAD drawing programs.

Cost & Efficiency: Industrial Cash Out:

  • Monitoring & Tracking of Cash Capex in alignment with all stakeholders
  • Highlighting "Distance to Go" on monthly basis, specifying the Key Risks, Support required & Way forward action plan on Projections for subsequent month
  • Focused tracking of major projects, right from Initiation to Capitalization
  • Ensuring 100% compliance with respect to the cash flows, budget reallocations, etc.

Regular Engineering Updates via monthly review meetings with concerned stakeholders

Projects Execution Methodology (Leasing) & Standardization deployment

  • Asset Leasing - Streamlining the execution of the projects via Leasing Model with 100% compliance & coordination with Leasing Agency
  • Technical & Engineering Standards- Setting up a detailed action plan and organizing training sessions with external/internal SMEs, ensuring the execution support in line with the standards

PRIME Deployment and Audits

  • Embed a culture of operational excellence through the adoption and execution of the PRIME philosophy into Engineering Pillar and demonstration through each project
  • Regular Unit Audits on the PRIME and PRIME LITE for the Engineering Projects and Maturity Scoring

Ensure comprehensive Engineering Roadmap to drive continuous improvement in Safety & Health performance

  • Gemba walks to be conducted during the site visits and highlighting the unsafe existing conditions.
  • Providing and assisting the team for its closure by way of various Engineering interventions.
  • Project Central Lead for the Fire And Electrical Safety Project

Automation Index

  • Driving the Automation Index Methodology across sites and ensure PAN India target of 65% by P29
