Your Job

We are seeking a principled and people-centric Engineering Manager to lead our Multiphysics Simulation Group within Global Engineering Services (GES). In this role, you will build and scale a high-performing team of simulation specialists while driving strategic, high-impact engineering programs that enable Molex’s transition toward Virtual Product Qualification (VPQ). You will serve as a force multiplier—elevating team capability, ensuring delivery excellence, and creating measurable business value through simulation-driven insights.

Our Team

You will be part of the Global Engineering Services (GES) organization at Molex’s Global Technology Center in Bengaluru. The Multiphysics Simulation Group is a research-driven team that partners with global business units to deliver advanced simulation solutions across structural, thermal, CFD, SI, and EMI/EMC domains, directly influencing product development and qualification decisions.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of multiphysics simulation engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, curiosity, and ownership
  • Drive execution of complex, cross-functional simulation programs that influence global product development and qualification strategies
  • Establish strong program governance, ensuring disciplined planning, risk management, and high-quality, timely delivery
  • Partner with global stakeholders to align simulation priorities with business objectives and future capability needs
  • Champion the integration of simulation outputs into product development processes, advancing the VPQ vision
  • Build and reinforce a culture of quality, standardization, and continuous improvement across simulation workflows
  • Act as a strategic advisor, identifying opportunities to expand simulation capabilities, tools, and methodologies
  • Communicate impact and value delivered through simulation in terms of cost avoidance, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering environments, with at least 3 years in a people leadership or team management role
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder engineering programs from initiation through delivery
  • Demonstrated capability in building and developing high-performing engineering teams
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills within matrixed organizations

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Exposure to multiphysics simulation domains such as FEA, CFD, thermal, Signal Integrity, or EMI/EMC
  • Experience in simulation-driven product development or digital engineering transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-based simulation approaches such as surrogate modeling or digital twin frameworks
  • MBA or formal leadership/management education
  • Understanding of Principle-Based Management (PBM®) or similar value-driven operating philosophies
