Auberle Seeks: Central Pennsylvania Employment Institute Manager
As a dynamic, faith-based nonprofit, Auberle builds strong individuals, families, and communities through more than two dozen holistic programs that reach across Pennsylvania. We serve thousands of individuals and families each year through five core program areas: Workforce Development, Housing, Young Adult Services, Foster Care, and Behavioral Health. Position Overview: The Employment Institute, Auberle’s nationally recognized workforce development program, places unemployed and underemployed individuals in career track employment with benefits, impacting future generations. As a result, we are embarking on an exciting expansion in the Central Pennsylvania Region. The Central Pennsylvania Employment Institute Manager is a mission driven leader excited to support the goals of our programmatic expansion. The Manager will partner with businesses to link unemployed and underemployed young people (ages 18-24) to real, existing job opportunities particularly in the healthcare industry. The Manager has a proven business acumen to achieve both job placement and retention outcomes while strategically growing our unique program model according to workforce and economic needs. The Manager must also foster a collaborative team environment and provide hands-on support for case managers as needed.
QualificationsKey Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment of participants involved in programs and services of the Employment Institute in Central PA.
- Develop aggressive success measures that focus on participants gaining and keeping career-level jobs.
- Travel 75% of the time to meet participants, community partners, and employer partners in person, supporting the growth and direction of the program.
- Execute on expected contract goals, which includes job placement and retention outcomes.
- Motivate case managers with positive reinforcement and help them develop their skills and abilities to create innovative solutions for individuals to succeed at getting and keeping good paying positions.
- Supervise and delegate tasks/projects to assigned Employment Institute case manager(s).
- Work with the Director of the Employment Institute to manage and grow the program according to regional economic needs.
- Use strong communication skills to establish and manage relationships both inside and outside of the agency, recruiting and working with businesses and other agencies.
- Assist in the development, oversight, achievement, and reporting of program goals and related data points.
- Learn and implement trauma-informed approaches to service delivery and agency culture.
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive culture based on respect that builds a diverse staff of high performers who expect and deliver excellence and exhibit agency pride.
- Promote the Continuous Quality Improvement philosophy at Auberle and maintain all Quality Improvement goals and objectives.
- Perform such other duties as directed by Director, CEO or COO.
Principal
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but related experience considered
- ACT 33/34 and FBI Clearances
- Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, and proof of insurance
- Reliable transportation for frequent travel across multiple counties (approximately 75% of the time).

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000/year reflecting the level of skill and ability expected of applicants which includes medical, dental and vision coverage for both individual and family.
