The Opportunity
Women’s College Hospital Foundation is seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented and results-driven Manager of Donor Engagement & Impact to join our high-performing team.

Reporting to the Director, Donor Engagement & Impact, the Manager of Donor Engagement & Impact is a strategic thinker with a donor-centric mindset who combines exceptional project management, relationship-building and communication skills to create meaningful donor experiences.

The Manager plays a key role in implementing the Foundation's donor engagement and stewardship strategy, ensuring donors feel informed, valued and connected to the impact of their generosity. Working closely with colleagues across the Foundation and hospital, the Manager develops and delivers stewardship initiatives, donor communications and impact reporting that strengthen relationships, inspire philanthropy, increase donor retention and demonstrate the transformational impact of giving on patient care, research, education and community engagement.

Core Deliverables
This role plays a key part in delivering donor engagement and stewardship initiatives, translating strategy into execution and coordinating work across teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality and mission-aligned donor experience. The role supports the delivery of timely and thoughtful donor communications and stewardship activities that strengthen relationships and reinforce the impact of philanthropy.

Project Management
• Leads the planning, coordination, tracking and delivery of stewardship plans from end-to-end, ensuring alignment with donor journeys and cross-functional collaboration to support timely and successful execution
• Maintains and adheres to the donor engagement calendar to ensure timely execution of stewardship tasks, including communications, reporting, recognition activities and engagement touchpoints

Donor Stewardship and Program Delivery
• Manages the Foundation's donor stewardship program, ensuring a meaningful and consistent donor experience through personalized engagement and recognition
• Supports the execution of the Foundation’s donor journey strategy across donor segments, including Annual, Monthly, Leadership, Major Gift, Transformational, Legacy Giving and Events
• Manages and oversees the annual engagement and stewardship activities for the Foundation’s donor societies and affinity groups, including 100Women, Spirit of Life Society and the Leadership Giving Circle, ensuring a strong and consistent member experience. Serves as the primary liaison for neWCHapter a committee of young professionals who are helping to transform the future of healthcare
• Leads the planning and execution of donor meetings, appreciation events, gift announcements and dedications to motivate increased and continued support

Database and Reporting
• Ensures the accuracy and integrity of donor information through data entry and record management in Raiser's Edge (RE), the Foundation's donor database
• Working with the Donor Services team to maintain accurate donor records for donor engagement, communication and recognition
• Provides timely reporting on Key Performance Indicators to Foundation leadership to support performance tracking and inform improved decision-making
• Tracks deliverables outlined in gift agreements, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure commitments are executed and reporting is accurate and delivered on time

Communications and Recognition
• Develops stewardship communication templates and guidelines, including custom acknowledgement letters and program-specific donor reports, to ensure consistent, personalized donor communications and high-quality reporting for leadership and major gift donors

• Supports the development of a comprehensive donor recognition program (digital and physical), including tracking recognition opportunities, assigning naming values, and building clear guidelines. Collaborates with hospital and internal teams on naming opportunities and coordinating sign installations in accordance with donor gift agreements. Works with vendors to ensure donor recognition is produced and installed in alignment with established standards

People Management
• Directly supervises the Donor Experience Officer, providing day-to-day direction, performance management and professional development

Qualifications & Core Competencies
• University degree and/or equivalent education and a minimum of 4-6 years of experience (specifically relevant, progressive experience in donor relations, stewardship and fundraising)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience developing donor-facing communications and stewardship content
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in donor data, reporting and communications
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a highly collaborative environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient working with Blackbaud CRM or other related fundraising databases
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud considered an asset
• Experience in fundraising, donor engagement or stewardship within a healthcare or academic setting considered an asset

Salary Range: $82,500 to $92,000. Eligibility for merit pay and comprehensive benefits including Healthcare Ontario Pension Plan enrollment.
