Carrier’s Digital Products and Software team is building solutions to reimagine the systems that shape the way we live, work, and learn. About this role

You will design, develop and build applications in a fast-paced, collaborative and iterative delivery environment. You should possess expert level programming experience in at least one programming language and be able to program in additional languages with ease. Key Responsibilities

• Leading the software development effort across Digital products
• Responsible for all Cloud, Front End & Software architecture, design, development and deployment of cost effective and sustainable infrastructures to meet business requirements for Global product rollouts

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree
• 3+ years of experience as a software developer working on complex systems
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software or SaaS engineering/development.
• 2+ years’ experience utilizing TypeScript

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

• BE/ BS/B.Tech/ME/ M.Tech degree in Computer Engineering or related fields (Mathematics)
• Experience with TypeScript, & Unit Testing.
• Extensive IoT experience.
• Front End and Back End experience.
• Working knowledge of other programming languages – Python, Java, C, etc.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Complete understanding of software development life cycle, from customer needs to product release, is essential.
• Hands-on experience with development tools & dev-ops is required.
• Expertise and domain knowledge in developing, maintaining reusable software services, infrastructure for promoting reuse of services/ components/ libraries.
• Ability to analyze software services for reuse potential is critical for success of the candidate. Deep understanding of standard practices of open-source software development tools and methodology is absolute.
• Good experience working on the latest digital technologies.
• Agile/Scrum methodology knowledge.
• Working experience and competence in Nodejs, Micro Service based Architecture.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interface effectively with all levels within the organization, including executive and senior management teams.
• Team player with a positive, collaborative work ethic. Enjoys collaborating with design, product, and other teams.
