This is where you come in, as the Manager, Digital Product Visualization, known internally as Manager, CG you’ll lead the CG team in bringing Article’s products to life through high-quality, photorealistic 3D assets across eCommerce and marketing channels.

You’ll act as the primary bridge between Art Direction and the 3D pipeline, transforming creative concepts into clear, actionable technical direction while coaching the team to deliver accurate, on-brand, high-performing renders at scale.

As the internal authority for CG execution, you'll champion excellence across geometric accuracy, material realism, lighting consistency, and production quality. While this role focuses on the implementation and evolution of the CG pipeline rather than defining the initial brand aesthetic, it is responsible for creating precise digital twins of Article products that feel as elevated and thoughtful as the real thing.

You’ll help ensure our CG pipeline can scale alongside the business while continuing to deliver high-quality, commercially-focused visuals that support eCommerce, storytelling, and brand consistency across every customer touchpoint.

What You’ll Do

CG Production & Execution

  • Lead the CG production team in creating high-quality, photorealistic 3D assets across all customer-facing channels
  • Ensure all outputs maintain strict alignment with brand standards while meeting complex, channel-specific requirements
  • Balance visual quality with the speed and adaptability needed for rapid iteration and a performance-driven, test-and-learn environment
  • Guide the creation of precise digital product representations that feel elevated, accurate, and commercially effective
  • Translate creative vision and physical product specifications into scalable, actionable CG workflows
  • Transform creative feedback into practical modeling, shading, lighting, and rendering direction
  • Ensure all digital product collateral remains authentically on-brand without compromising performance optimization or production efficiency
  • We use G Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Google Docs, Meet, etc) to work and Slack to collaborate and communicate, with your choice of Mac or PC device.
  • Leverage G Suite and Slack for daily collaboration and communication on your preferred hardware (Mac or PC)
  • Own the CG execution process across eCommerce, marketing, web, mobile, social, and print environments
  • Adapt workflows to support evolving platform requirements, production needs, and emerging digital best practices
  • Identify and implement repeatable processes, templates, and workflow improvements that increase consistency, scalability, and team efficiency
  • Troubleshoot pipeline bottlenecks and technical production challenges across the CG workflow
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of CG Specialists
  • Set clear expectations around technical quality, delivery standards, and brand consistency
  • Provide direct, actionable feedback that helps the team improve technical execution, operational efficiency, and creative problem-solving
  • Foster a collaborative, resilient, and adaptable team environment that encourages continuous improvement and above-the-line behaviour

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in CG, 3D production, visualization, or related creative production environments
  • Experience leading or mentoring CG modellers or virtual production teams
  • Strong portfolio showcasing photorealistic product rendering and technical execution
  • Experience working within eCommerce, retail, consumer products, or marketing-focused creative environments
  • Experience managing production timelines, asset delivery, and cross-functional creative workflows
  • Strong understanding of CG production pipelines and rendering workflows
  • Expertise in modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and rendering photorealistic product assets
  • Advanced experience with industry-standard 3D software such as 3ds Max, or similar tools
  • Experience working with render engines such as Corona Renderer
  • Strong understanding of geometry, topology, UV mapping, texture management, and material realism
  • Experience optimizing assets for eCommerce, web, mobile, social, and marketing environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical pipeline issues and improve workflow efficiency
  • Understanding of file management, asset organization, and CG production best practices

  • Set clear expectations around quality, timelines, and production standards
  • Provide direct, actionable technical feedback and mentorship to support team growth and consistency
  • Help the team balance speed, adaptability, and high-quality execution in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across creative and technical teams
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Adaptable and resilient in fast-changing production environments
  • Legally able to work in Canada
  • Completion of criminal background check
