Job Description

At Morgan & Morgan, the work we do matters. For millions of Americans, we’re their last line of defense against insurance companies, large corporations or defective goods. From attorneys in all 50 states, to client support staff, creative marketing to operations teams, every member of our firm has a key role to play in the winning fight for consumer rights. Our over 6,000 employees are all united by one mission: For the People.

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Paid Search Manager to join our in-house SEM team. In this role, you will serve as a key day-to-day steward of Paid Search across our national portfolio of legal practice areas, owning campaign strategy, activation, execution, and optimization. You will work closely with SEM specialists, cross-functional marketing partners, and executive leadership to deliver performance marketing results that directly support our mission of winning for the people.

This is an opportunity to bring your performance marketing & Paid Search expertise into a fast-moving, data-driven in-house environment — where your work has real-world impact at national scale.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Lead search campaign activation and innovation for assigned practice areas, applying deep platform mastery to deliver against defined performance KPIs
  • Own end-to-end Paid Search campaign development across Google and Microsoft Ads — inclusive of keywords, ad copy, audiences and bid strategies as well as campaign settings
  • Develop Quality Assurance checklists for team to follow and ensure QA processes are being adhered to prior to launches
  • Partner with Digital Director to develop quarterly optimization and testing roadmaps and own the execution of these roadmaps
  • Contribute to budget planning and projections, providing tactic-level allocation in collaboration with marketing leadership

Budget Management & Performance

  • Monitor pacing and ensure campaigns adhere to allocated budgets; monitor daily spend and adjust as needed based on CPA performance to maintain pacing accuracy
  • Oversee SEM automated bidding strategies and target adjustments, executing weekly optimizations to maximize account performance
  • Pull and synthesize performance data weekly to report on impact of recent optimizations and to provide recommendations to strengthen KPI performance

Account Governance & Compliance

  • Enforce account structures, naming conventions, negative keyword management, and compliance standards across all paid search accounts
  • Liaise with analytics, insights, legal compliance, and creative teams to ensure flawless campaign execution in a regulated industry
  • Troubleshoot campaign delivery issues — including broken tags, trafficking errors, and spend anomalies — escalate appropriately
  • Identify and implement process improvements, tooling enhancements, and automation opportunities to streamline delivery and reduce error rates

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide day-to-day direction, mentorship, and guidance to SEM specialists and biddable media colleagues to foster knowledge transfer and professional growth
  • Support the Digital Director in maintaining Paid Search standard of excellence across accounts and practice areas
  • Collaborate with Digital Director to establish and refine standardized workflows and processes for SEM
  • Communicate search strategy, performance insights, and recommendations clearly to senior marketing leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Contribute to internal points of view on industry trends, platform developments, and emerging paid media innovations

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on Paid Search / SEM experience, with a strong foundation in performance marketing and lead generation
  • Proven proficiency with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads; Search Ads 360 and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) experience a plus
  • Demonstrated success managing and optimizing campaigns focused on lead volume, cost-per-action, and conversion efficiency (CPA)
  • Strong command of budget management, pacing, and bid strategy execution across multi-account environments
  • Experience with keyword research, audience segmentation, negative keyword management, and account structure governance
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights; proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data visualization)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work under tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Proven leadership ability with experience mentoring or delegating to junior team members
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset with a demonstrated drive to continuously improve
  • Proven self-starter with an ownership mentality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency experience or background working as part of a dedicated SEM team of 2–3+ paid search specialists is strongly preferred
  • Experience working within or alongside a law firm, legal services company, or other highly regulated industry (finance, healthcare, insurance)

  • Experience with SA360 (Search Ads 360) cross-engine campaign management
  • Familiarity with AI tools and integrating AI to streamline workflows
  • Certifications in Google Ads and/or Microsoft Ads

About Morgan & Morgan, P.A.

John Morgan became a lawyer with a simple mission: To fight for the people, and not the powerful. After experiencing firsthand the perils of choosing the wrong lawyer and representation after his brother Tim was paralyzed, he dedicated his life to helping people so that no one should ever have to go through what his family endured.

Tim was just a teenager when he was working as a lifeguard at Disney World when he suffered a spinal injury that left him confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. The Morgans made a life altering decision and they hired the wrong lawyer, who was by no means qualified to take on such a large corporation and their army of lawyers. As a result, Tim never got the compensation he deserved.

This experience left John outraged and determined to level the playing field for all people who, like his brother Tim, were injured or mistreated by big and powerful corporations. John decided to become a lawyer, and the rest is history.

Since 1988, Morgan & Morgan has been fighting for the people. Every client who walks through our doors is treated the same way John wished his family would have been treated all those years ago. No one, no matter who they are, or where they’re from, should ever feel powerless when fighting for the justice and compensation they deserve.

With $25 Billion dollars recovered for our clients, offices across 50 states + Washington D.C. and an army of over 1,000 attorneys - we are everywhere for everyone.

All law firms are not the same. There’s only one Morgan & Morgan.
