We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Performance Marketing Specialist (with potential for Senior Manager title based on experience) to join our Digital Banking team. This role focuses on driving customer acquisition and sales growth for a range of retail and SME banking products, including personal loans, card loans, credit cards, personal and SME accounts.
The position goes beyond traditional digital performance marketing, encompassing strategic partnerships and end-to-end accountability for acquisition outcomes. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base while ensuring measurable business impact, such as loan drawdowns, new account openings, and credit card issuances.
What’s Expected of You:
• Working with agency to plan, execute, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across digital channels (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, programmatic display, affiliates) to acquire high-quality leads for retail and SME products.
• Identify, propose, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with external parties (e.g., affiliates, fintechs, e-commerce platforms, influencers, or co-branded initiatives) to drive cost-effective sales and acquisitions.
• Implement and maintain robust tracking systems for digital acquisition sources, ensuring accurate attribution and optimization of channels.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, partnership outcomes, and overall acquisition funnel, with a focus on ROI, cost per acquisition (CPA), and ultimate business results (e.g., loan disbursements, account activations, card approvals).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, such as product, marketing, compliance, and analytics teams, to align marketing efforts with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively identify new opportunities, test innovative approaches, and scale successful initiatives to drive aggressive sales growth.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes impacting performance marketing in banking.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, preferably in financial services, banking, fintech, or consumer lending/credit products.
• Proven track record of driving measurable acquisitions (e.g., loans, credit cards, deposits, or accounts) with strong ROI in similar roles at banks or financial institutions.
• Expertise in digital performance channels (paid search, social, display, affiliates) and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, tracking pixels).
• Experience managing partnerships or affiliate programs that deliver tangible sales results.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and reporting (e.g., Excel).
• Understanding of financial services regulations and compliance considerations in marketing.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to expand scope, take ownership, and drive initiatives independently.
• Excellent communication (in both written and spoken Chinese & English), negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience specifically with retail banking products (personal loans, credit cards, CASA) and/or SME acquisition.
• Demonstrated success in end-to-end acquisition accountability, from lead generation to conversion/drawdown.
• For Senior Manager consideration: 8+ years of experience, prior leadership of large-scale campaigns, and a history of significantly scaling acquisition volumes in financial services.
