Job Description

[What the role is]

As a team member in the Air Transport Division, you will drive the development of the Singapore air hub through sound economic regulation and insightful market analysis and promotion. You will help advance Singapore’s air hub interests on your assigned country markets through sense-making trends and engaging airline and foreign counterparts.

[What you will be working on]

  • To succeed in this role, you should have a keen interest in the air transport sector with a willingness to learn more about international air services agreements and airline economics.

  • You should also be able to demonstrate good systems-thinking and the ability to diagnose problems and implement solutions within the context of a regulatory and economic promotion framework.

  • Prior experience in the aviation industry, or in a government regulatory role is good to have, but not necessary.

[What we are looking for]

  • Academic training in Business, Law, Economics, International Relations, or Engineering

  • Keen interest in commercial air transport, international air services agreements, or airline regulation.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Good analytical skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Self-motivated, driven, able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Applicants with no experience may apply


Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
