Join our team as a Manager of Demand Generation for EMEA!

Join Protolabs at a pivotal moment of growth as our Manager of Demand Generation for EMEA. This role will is where you’ll shape how we attract, engage, and grow customers across some of the world’s most dynamic markets. In this role, you’ll own the end‑to‑end regional demand strategy, driving measurable pipeline growth, accelerating new customer acquisition, and unlocking expansion and reactivation opportunities that directly impact revenue.

You’ll lead and inspire a high-performing team of regional marketing and channel specialists, while partnering closely with sales, account management, product, and global marketing leaders. Together, you’ll deliver integrated, data-driven campaigns that align tightly with commercial goals and elevate the customer experience across the full lifecycle.

This is a strategic leadership role with meaningful hands-on ownership. You’ll apply modern, best-in-class demand generation practices—spanning events and partner marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), and advanced marketing technology—while introducing innovative approaches like GTM engineering and AI-enabled workflows. With a strong focus on performance analytics, you’ll continuously optimize programs to resonate with diverse EMEA audiences and maximize impact.

What you'll do:

    Demand Generation Strategy & Pipeline Growth

  • Define and execute the EMEA demand generation strategy to drive regional pipeline (quote) growth, customer acquisition, customer expansion, and revenue contribution.
  • Develop integrated multi-channel campaigns across digital, ABM, email, webinars, events, paid media, partnerships, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Partner closely with regional sales leadership to align marketing priorities with commercial objectives, target industries, strategic accounts, and pipeline goals.
  • Develop and implement account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to engage, convert, and expand prioritized industry and enterprise accounts.
  • Support full-funnel customer lifecycle initiatives, including acquisition, pipeline (quote) acceleration, customer retention, and account expansion.
  • Utilize audience insights, intent signals, behavioral data, and campaign performance metrics to improve targeting, personalization, and conversion effectiveness.
  • Campaigns, Content, & Regional Execution

  • Lead the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of regional demand generation campaigns across EMEA markets.
  • Ensure regional campaigns and messaging are aligned with global brand strategy while remaining locally relevant across diverse markets and cultures.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing Communications teams to support product launches, regional initiatives, and strategic growth campaigns.
  • Drive regional content localization and market adaptation strategies to improve customer resonance, engagement, and conversion performance.
  • Oversee updates and optimization of regional website content and digital customer experiences.
  • Events, Webinars, & Industry Engagement

  • Oversee the planning and execution of EMEA events, trade shows, roadshows, webinars, and partner initiatives aligned with new customer, pipeline (quote) and revenue objectives.
  • Ensure event and webinar strategies are integrated into broader regional demand generation and ABM programs.
  • Evaluate event performance and contribution to pipeline (quote) generation, customer acquisition and expansion goals.
  • Oversee sector campaigns driving target account engagement by aligning marketing-led outbound, paid social, and content activities.
  • Marketing Technology, AI, & Operational Excellence

  • Leverage CRM, marketing automation, ABM, analytics, and AI-enabled marketing tools to improve campaign effectiveness, personalization, operational efficiency, and customer engagement.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and Revenue Operations teams to help build and optimize customer data, lead lifecycle management, attribution modeling, lead scoring, funnel performance, and conversion efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows, improve reporting capabilities, and scale regional marketing performance through technology and process optimization.
  • Evaluate emerging marketing technologies, AI capabilities, and industry best practices to continuously improve demand generation effectiveness.
  • Performance Management & Analytics

  • Establish quarterly team goals, KPIs, and performance benchmarks aligned with pipeline growth, revenue contribution, acquisition efficiency, and account engagement objectives.
  • Manage and optimize the EMEA demand generation and ABM budget, ensuring investment decisions are data-driven and aligned with business priorities and ROI targets.
  • Analyze campaign, funnel, and channel performance to identify optimization opportunities and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards that connect marketing activities to pipeline (quote), revenue impact, and business outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, testing, continuous learning, and performance optimization across the regional marketing team.
  • Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of regional marketing and channel specialists.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Management, Marketing Communications, Digital, and Global Marketing teams to maximize campaign impact and alignment.
  • Act as a strategic bridge between EMEA market needs and global marketing priorities, providing insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote strong cross-functional collaboration, accountability, and customer-centric decision-making across regional initiatives.

What it takes:

  • Proven experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or regional B2B marketing management roles.
  • Strong experience developing and executing multi-market EMEA demand generation strategies that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated success leading integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience organizing offline events and tradeshows.
  • Experience marketing to technical, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or B2B technology audiences is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of B2B buying journeys, account engagement strategies, and customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience leveraging CRM, marketing automation, ABM, analytics, and data platforms to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and budget management capabilities with a data-driven decision-making mindset.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing marketing teams.
