Responsibilities

Purpose of Role

Lead and accelerate the organization's environmental sustainability and decarbonization agenda through deployment of renewable energy solutions, EV infrastructure, ESG digitalization, transportation decarbonization programs, customer sustainability initiatives, and long-term environmental strategy development.

Key Responsibilities

Renewable Energy & Energy Management

• Lead solar deployment projects across operational sites.
• Evaluate solar performance, utilization, generation efficiency, and renewable energy opportunities.
• Assess and implement energy optimization initiatives including battery storage and emerging technologies.
• Develop business cases and investment proposals including CAPEX vs OPEX evaluations.
• Coordinate with facility management teams, vendors, and operations teams for project execution.

Electric Vehicles & Charging Infrastructure

• Drive EV deployment programs across network operations.
• Evaluate charging infrastructure requirements and technology options.
• Lead fast charging infrastructure assessments and implementation projects.
• Develop roadmap for future fleet electrification including line-haul opportunities.
• Monitor charging utilization and infrastructure performance.

ESG Digitalization & Analytics

• Lead deployment of IoT-based monitoring solutions for Solar, EV, DG, and energy consumption.
• Manage vendors and technology partners for smart metering and digitalization initiatives.
• Develop real-time dashboards and automated environmental reporting solutions.
• Establish KPI frameworks and performance monitoring systems.

Transportation Decarbonization

• Develop transportation decarbonization roadmap covering EVs, alternative fuels, network optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Identify and evaluate carbon reduction opportunities across transportation operations.
• Develop emissions tracking and reporting mechanisms.

Customer Sustainability Solutions for decarbonization monetization

• Support development of customer-facing decarbonization solutions
• Work with pricing teams on sustainability value propositions and ESG offerings.
• Support sustainability monetization initiatives and carbon reporting solutions for customers.

Environmental Strategy & Transformation

• Support development of long-term environmental roadmap and decarbonization strategy.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and market trends.
• Identify investment opportunities and prioritization framework.
• Drive cross-functional engagement across Operations, Transport, Facilities, Finance, Commercial, Procurement, and ESG teams.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, Environmental, Sustainability, or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in sustainability, renewable energy, energy management, EV infrastructure, or decarbonization projects.
• Strong understanding of solar technologies, EV charging infrastructure, energy management systems, and sustainability reporting.
• Experience in project management, business case development, and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and financial evaluation capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of renewable energy regulations and emerging technologies.
• Experience in IoT-enabled monitoring systems and ESG digitalization.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or industrial operations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work across multiple functions and drive large transformation initiatives.
