Job Description

In this role, you'll:


Working as part of a team delivering: Technical data solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and governance, driving innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence while enabling secure, scalable data platforms that support informed decision‑making and business outcomes across the transport network.

  • You will be overseeing end‑to‑end technical delivery of data solutions, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
  • You will be leading and managing data engineering teams to deliver scalable, high‑performance, and resilient data platforms.
  • You will be collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, enable seamless integration, and deliver future‑ready solutions.
  • You will be driving continuous improvement through emerging technologies, effective vendor management, and strong technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring.

About you

  • You have deep expertise in data architecture, data engineering, system integration, and enterprise‑scale platform delivery.
  • Your knowledge includes cloud‑based data platforms, big data technologies, and modern data solution architectures.
  • You demonstrate proven leadership in managing technical delivery teams and complex, large‑scale initiatives.
  • Your strengths are strong stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and effective problem‑solving, supported by relevant tertiary IT qualifications and professional experience.
