The Role

Data Managers support organisations with the sourcing, acquisition, management, integration
and sharing of data to provide business insights and drive data-based decision making.

Staff are required to work onsite a minimum of two days per week. At times, onsite attendance may increase to at least three days as operational needs arise.

Baseline security clearance required for this role.

About You

The successful Records Support Officer (Manager - APS5 equivalent) will be responsible for performing a range of records and information management functions, including:

  • Accurately classify, capture, and store records in line with regulatory requirements and
    standards issued by the National Archives of Australia;
  • Provide Content Manager system support to staff, including day-to-day user assistance,
    troubleshooting, and issue resolution;
  • Deliver records and information management training and support to staff across the
    organisation;
  • Carry out routine administrative tasks within Content Manager, such as mapping activities,
    user registrations, and permission checks;
  • Coordinate the retrieval of physical records from offsite storage providers and undertake
    physical records management activities, including listing, filing, reporting, and tracking;
  • Administer and maintain the Policy Library on the IBA intranet, ensuring documents remain
    current, controlled, and easily accessible;
  • Provide operational support to the IAM project team during the transition from Content
    Manager to SharePoint, including information migration activities, user support, and
    change-related tasks.
  • Respond to ad hoc information management requests.

Technical skills:

  • Experience with Content Manager/TRIM including old versions of the product and
    Working knowledge of document management within SharePoint.
