Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Data Center Manager – Critical Facilities to join our Data Center Operations team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, maintenance, infrastructure reliability, and financial management to ensure 100% facility uptime and operational excellence across all critical and supporting systems.

You will lead a dynamic, cross-functional facility infrastructure team and collaborate closely with vendor networks, engineering partners, and enterprise stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and continuous power and cooling availability.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Manage Facility Operations & Maintenance: Plan, direct, and supervise the continuous operations, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle performance of critical infrastructure—including Electrical Systems, Diesel Generator Sets, Uninterruptible Power Supply units, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems, Building Management Systems, and Fire & Life Safety systems—to guarantee uninterrupted facility uptime.
• Collaborate Across Functions & Vendors: Partner with external Annual Maintenance Contract service providers, vendor networks, cross-functional engineering teams, and enterprise clients to manage Service Level Agreements, monitor vendor Key Performance Indicators, oversee shift handovers, and coordinate rack space and power capacity deployments.
• Ensure Operational Governance & Compliance: Oversee strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Operating Procedures, and Method of Procedure documents while managing Incident and Change Management processes, Root Cause Analyses, safety protocols, statutory compliance, and internal and external audits.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• 12+ years of progressive experience in Data Center operations, mission-critical facility management, hyperscale environment operations, or large-scale critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of critical facility infrastructure, including Uninterruptible Power Supply systems, Diesel Generators, cooling and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems, Building Management Systems, physical security, capacity management, and Capital Expenditure / Operational Expenditure budget oversight.
• Proven ability in vendor management, incident response and Root Cause Analysis, cross-functional stakeholder collaboration, team leadership, and audit compliance execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent); Certified Data Centre Professional or Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager certifications are preferred.
