Job Description

Enhance Shareholders’ Value (Financial)

  • To assist Head of Credit Management and works closely with Business Units to on-board and retain good credit customers, and to ensure approved terms and conditions are followed through.
  • To provide quality inputs / make sound & balanced credit decisions when approving a credit.
  • To ensure credit applications recommended for approval/approved are within credit appetite and guidelines of the bank.
  • To ensure appropriate reward to the risks.

Internal Business Process

  • To work closely with Business Units to initiate/develop processes, templates, etc. to improve work efficiency and effectiveness.
  • To proactively participate and to provide constructive feedback and input to the development of credit underwriting guidelines.
  • To ensure that proper internal controls, guidelines and governance are in place to facilitate day-to-day activities.
  • To keep abreast on market/event risks and highlight to supervisors any potential threat to Banks portfolio in event of such market/event risks.

Customer

  • To build good relationship with Business Units.
  • To work closely with Business Units trying to structure deals to be beneficial to both bank and customer with strong risk control.
  • To ensure the approval turnaround time is or beyond service level agreement set.

Employee Engagement & Development

  • To assist Head of Credit Management in running credit knowledge/best practice sharing session to the Business Units.
  • To ensure self-development and to develop others.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business related.
  • At least 3 years lending experience.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of sustainability, country economy and the business practice in Cambodia.
  • Understand about local regulatory requirements.
  • Have a good business minded with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated and committed.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Good planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
