Retail Banking and Wealth (RBW) Credit Control Services

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Credit Control Services

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead a team responsible for risk and control monitoring, cost management, and a range of back-office operations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for audits, reviews, and risk steward challenges; coordinate responses to findings, actions, and reports.
  • Drive implementation of the CCS control framework in partnership with Risk Stewards and the Control Office (CCO), ensuring controls are robust, consistently operated, and evidenced through ongoing monitoring.
  • Oversee the end-to-end complaints journey to ensure compliance with applicable complaint-handling regulatory requirements, working closely with Customer Relations on monitoring and governance.
  • Conduct annual reviews of departmental documentation (including the DIM) and ensure timely completion of all CCS-related mandatory training.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications.
    Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in credit risk and/or risk and control, ideally supported by a relevant professional qualification
  • Strong knowledge of retail banking; experience in operational risk management and/or financial crime compliance is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across a broad range of stakeholders; resilient and adaptable in a changing environment.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua/Mandarin).
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
