Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Should costing expertise in Electrical & Electronics components (power electronics, wiring harness, proprietary E/E parts)
Maintain detailed cost structures (BOM breakdowns, raw material indexing, should-cost models, variance vs target/actual)
Manage change control costing and assess impact on part, system, and vehicle cost
Work with cross-functional teams to estimate BOM cost for new parts/concepts, assemblies, and redesigns
Benchmark competition and provide cost optimization inputs to design teams
Perform profitability analysis and support make vs buy decisions
Own monthly material cost reporting at vehicle and system level

Experience

10 to 12 Years
