Lead and shape the technology that supports essential business services.
Water is life. Every day, millions of Western Australians rely on the safe, reliable water services our people deliver. Behind those services sits a diverse portfolio of corporate systems that supports teams across Water Corporation to work effectively, manage risk and deliver important business outcomes.
We're looking for a people-focused technology leader to join us in this 12-month fixed-term opportunity, leading our Corporate Systems team and helping progress the modernisation of our application landscape, strengthen service ownership and evolve our ways of working.
This isn't just a technology management role. It's an opportunity to lead a capable team, bring clarity to a diverse technology landscape and make a meaningful impact over the 12-month term.
As Manager Corporate Systems, you will lead the Corporate Systems capability within Water Corporation's ERP & Corporate Systems platform, responsible for a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications and technology services that support business functions across the organisation. As service owner, you'll lead the delivery, operation and continuous improvement of these services, keeping them stable, secure, compliant and fit for future needs. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to shape the Corporate Systems roadmap, balance competing priorities and progress the modernisation, rationalisation and improvement of our application landscape.
What makes this role different?
A leader who builds high-performing teams, creates accountability and can confidently navigate complexity, competing priorities, risks and stakeholder expectations.
You'll bring significant experience leading enterprise applications, corporate systems or technology platform teams in a large, complex organisation, along with strong stakeholder engagement, vendor management and commercial skills. Experience managing a diverse application portfolio and leading technology modernisation or rationalisation will be highly regarded. Most importantly, you understand that the business defines the outcomes, and you have the curiosity and drive to help it realise value through technology.
We're building modern, secure and sustainable corporate technology services that support the organisation today while simplifying our technology landscape for the future.
If you're motivated by purpose, energised by leading people and want to make an impact leading a diverse enterprise application portfolio, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply: If you are interested in the above opportunity, please submit a covering letter and resume that best demonstrates your ability to meet the requirements of the role.
As part of the recruitment process you may be required to complete pre-employment screening which may include a medical, qualification check, police clearance and Australian working rights check.

We’re the principal supplier of water, wastewater and drainage services in Western Australia to hundreds of thousands of homes, businesses and farms, as well as providing bulk water to farms for irrigation.
Our services, projects and activities span over 2.6 million square kilometres. We have regional offices in Perth, Bunbury, Albany, Karratha, Geraldton, Northam and Kalgoorlie which allow our employees to provide a high level of professional expertise to customers.
We have over 3,500 employees and manage an asset base of over $37 billion in water supply, wastewater, drainage infrastructure and bulk water for irrigation.
We’re owned by the Western Australian Government and are accountable to our sole shareholder, the Minister for Water, for delivery of our services in a commercial manner. Most of our surplus is returned to the government as a dividend to contribute to the development of the state, with the remainder reinvested in capital works.
Water Corporation was created in January 1996, in a restructure of the water industry in Western Australia. The Water Authority in turn had been created in 1985 through a merger of the former Metropolitan Water Authority, which operated in Perth, the state capital, and the water and wastewater operations of the former WA Public Works Department. We’re the seventh successive agency to deal with these services in Perth, Western Australia.
We're evolving...
Living on the world’s driest continent, the biggest challenge we face is reducing the impact of climate change.
It’s never been more important to work collaboratively with government, industry, and the community, to secure our water future and take care of our home state.
To support these efforts, our vision focuses on our operations having the lowest possible environmental impact, are safe for all, and are delivered at the lowest total cost.
