Job Description
The role is responsible to support the organization’s strategic growth and financial performance by contributing to M&A activities, capital planning, and financial analysis. He/she will develop financial models, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing insights through KPI monitoring and market analysis, also assists in preparing management and investor materials, enabling informed decision-making by senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Support evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities, including financial analysis, valuation modelling, due diligence coordination, and preparation of investment materials.
- Assist in capital planning and fundraising processes, including preparation of financial models, investor presentations, and data room materials.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning (FP&A).
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, new product launches, and market expansion analysis.
- Prepare board materials, management presentations, and performance reports in collaboration with the Director and senior leadership.
- Monitor key financial and operational KPIs, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
- Support investor reporting and stakeholder communication materials as required.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Perform any other duties assigned to by line manager related to the nature of the work
- Enforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security (EIS) policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, personal due diligence and vigilance, within departmental/unit activities and operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- A tertiary level qualification from a recognized institution in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Years & Nature of Experience
- Recommended to have 3 to 5 years of equivalent experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, financial services, or strategy consulting.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or FP&A processes is preferred.
- Experience preparing senior-level presentations and analytical materials.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience in financial services, banking, or fintech is a plus.
