GFT is seeking a Manager, Corporate Accounting! This role follows a Remote work model.

What you’ll be challenged to do:The Manager, Corporate Accounting is responsible for leading general ledger accounting activities and supporting the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the Company’s financial close process. This role manages and develops accounting team members, reviews complex journal entries and account reconciliations, ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies, and partners cross functionally to resolve accounting issues. The Accounting Manager will also drive continuous improvement, strengthen controls, support internal and external audits, and serve as a knowledgeable accounting resource across the organization.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Manage general ledger accounting activities, including the preparation, review, and approval of journal entries, account analyses, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Lead assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and transactions are recorded accurately and completely.
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members, providing clear direction, performance feedback, technical guidance, and workload prioritization.
• Review and investigate complex or escalated reconciling items, account fluctuations, and discrepancies between accounting records, bank accounts, subledgers, and the general ledger.
• Provide variance analysis, account fluctuation explanations, and financial reporting support to management and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation standards.
• Develop expertise in applicable accounting systems and reporting tools and identify reporting enhancements and process improvements to support reconciliations, close efficiency, and issue resolution.
• Partner with Payroll, Accounts Payable, Billing, Treasury, Finance, Operations, and other cross functional teams to resolve accounting matters and improve end to end processes.
• Support internal and external audits by coordinating requests, reviewing supporting schedules, and ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Lead and participate in special projects, system initiatives, reporting improvements, accounting analyses, and other job related duties as assigned.

What you will bring to our firm:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month end close responsibilities.
• 2+ years of supervisory, team lead, or people management experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control concepts.
• Public accounting experience and/or experience supporting internal or external audits.
• CPA license.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and formula troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop accounting professionals.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and lead a team through time sensitive close cycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain accounting matters to non accounting stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and all levels of management.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.

What we prefer for you to bring:

• Experience working in large, multi entity and/or multi currency environments.
• Experience working in high volume data environments.
• Experience with Deltek VantagePoint or similar ERP systems.
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization and reporting tools.

Compensation:The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $140,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location. Featured Benefits:
