
[What the role is]
As a team member in the Strategy and Network Development Division, you will drive the development of the Singapore air hub through sound economic regulation and insightful market analysis and promotion.
[What you will be working on]
You will help advance Singapore’s air hub interests on your assigned country markets through market research, sense-making trends, developing engagement and negotiating strategies, and engaging airline and foreign counterparts.
[What we are looking for]
To succeed in this role, you should have a keen interest in the air transport sector with a willingness to learn more about international air services agreements and airline economics.
You should also be able to demonstrate good systems-thinking and the ability to diagnose problems and implement solutions within the context of a regulatory and economic promotion framework.
Prior experience in the aviation industry, or in a government regulatory role is good to have, but not necessary. Academic training in Law, Economics and International Relations will be useful to help the applicant succeed.
Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
