Position Overview:
The CORE Manager is responsible for driving functional expertise and leadership within the Asia Pacific Aftermarket Operations. This role aligns global goals with broader business strategies, particularly in CORE initiatives. The CORE Manager formulates, evaluates, and implements both short- and long-term CORE strategic and tactical plans, ensuring all initiatives contribute to operational excellence and align with business objectives.
· Drive Execution of CORE/SPS Initiatives: Ensure alignment of Aftermarket Operations’ CORE and Standard Production Systems (SPS) initiatives with business strategies
· Develop and Implement CORE/SPS Plans: Develop, evaluate, and implement strategic and tactical CORE/SPS plans, setting clear short- and long-term goals aligned with business priorities.
· Oversee CORE Control Room (CCR) Implementation: Oversee the implementation of CORE Control Rooms (CCR) across Aftermarket Operations, ensuring successful rollout and full integration into operational processes.
· Partner with Digital Transformation Teams: Collaborate with Digital Transformation teams to deploy visual management tools, such as tier boards, to strengthen Standard Production Systems (SPS) and support continuous operational improvements.
· Drive Internal CORE & Technology Process Maturity: Foster continuous improvement, share best practices, and promote collaboration. Support strategic initiatives for SPS, including planning, standard metrics, training, playbook development, and incorporating feedback from After Action Review (AAR) sessions.
· Lead Co-Project Efforts for SPS Initiatives: Lead strategic initiatives for SPS, including planning, standard metrics, training, playbook development, and incorporating feedback from After Action Review (AAR) sessions.
· Coordinate Resources for CORE/SPS Initiatives: Ensure successful implementation of CORE initiatives by coordinating resources and adhering to best practices. Facilitate (or co-facilitate) Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and other Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve daily workflows.
· Review AMO Control Towers Compliance: Review AMO control towers to ensure compliance with RTX auditing requirements and regulatory standards.
· Oversee Training and Certification Programs: Manage training and certification programs for CORE to ensure team members meet operational requirements and achieve high performance.
· Provide Leadership on Process Improvement Methodologies: Guide the successful execution of process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
· Collaborate Across Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement aligned with business objectives.
· Deployment Support: Drive and support the deployment of ongoing Transformation projects to achieve business goals.
· Collaborate with Digital Transformation teams to deploy visual management tools, such as tier boards, to strengthen Standard Production Systems (SPS) and support continuous operational improvements.
· Power Apps: Deploy low-code applications using Microsoft Power Apps to digitize manual workflows and replace paper forms.
· Automation: Utilize Power Automate to streamline approval flows and data notifications.
· Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends to drive continuous innovation and digital adoption on the shop floor.
· Ensuring data structures are ready to support transformation initiatives
· Facilitating data collection for standard work
· Proven experience in managing and executing operational improvement initiatives.
· Strong knowledge of CORE / Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement) and their application to business operations.
· Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams, managing multiple priorities and driving results.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
· Experience in Aftermarket Operations or similar field is highly preferred.
· Proven ability to drive maturity progression across multiple domains and functions.
· Experience working with Digital Transformation teams to develop and deploy visual management tools.
· Experience managing training and certification programs related to continuous improvement
· Experience with promoting internal best practice sharing and process maturity through cross-functional collaboration.
