Lynn Lake

The Lynn Lake Gold Project, located in northern Manitoba, is one of the highest-grade open pit gold deposits in Canada. The project consists of the MacLellan and Gordon sites, located just east of the Town of Lynn Lake. With strong infrastructure already in place, the project represents a significant opportunity to support future growth in Canada.

This role supports a Canadian site-based construction project focused on delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality infrastructure to support ongoing mining operations. The environment is fast-paced, safety-driven, and highly collaborative.

Construction Manager

As Construction Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of site construction projects. You will lead construction teams and contractors, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Working closely with engineering, operations, and project stakeholders, you will drive execution excellence and support overall project success.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution: Lead and manage all construction activities, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.

Health & Safety: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

Contractor Management: Oversee contractors and subcontractors, ensuring performance, quality, and adherence to contractual requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Schedule & Cost Control: Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines and budgets.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction work meets required specifications, standards, and project objectives.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, preferably in mining or heavy industrial environments
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale construction or capital projects
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing contractors, budgets, and project schedules
  • Familiarity with construction and project management tools and methodologies
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
