Our client, an asset management company, is seeking an experienced compliance professional to join their Compliance Team. The role involves providing ongoing support with a strong focus on AML compliance, regulatory updates, and ensuring the company adheres to the highest standards of regulatory and operational integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing effective compliance programs to align with AML regulatory requirements.
• Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing policies and procedures to detect and prevent money laundering and terrorist financing activities.
• Monitoring transactions, investigating suspicious activities, and preparing reports for regulatory authorities.
• Providing guidance and training to team members on AML regulations and best practices.
• Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance with local and international AML regulations.
• Staying updated on regulatory changes and industry developments to enhance the organization's compliance framework.

Requirements:

• Degree holder with a minimum of 6 years of compliance experience in the financial industry, preferably in asset management.
• Expertise in AML regulations and qualifications is highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Hong Kong AML regulations and guidelines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
