Job Description

Business Environment:

This position is part of JC organization, reporting to Managing Director / TBC, responsible for the full Administration & Welfare function of John Crane India. He/ She will be responsible for end-to-end admin, welfare, employee relations and other general activities. He/ She will also be responsible for partnership with local team in communication, branch activities, contract labour management, etc.

He/ she will be responsible for delivering the full range of administrative processes including canteen, transport, security management, branch activities like statutory compliance, registrations, agreements etc., & statutory compliances of contract labour & branches under various statutes.

Key Accountabilities and Challenges:

  • General Administration / Facility Management & compliance fulfillment.
  • Security Management.
  • Housekeeping and 5S management & Garden maintenance
  • Cafeteria Management.
  • Pick up and Drop facility of employees and company guests. (Transport Management).
  • Hotel bookings, Forex Management and Guest Management.
  • Internal /external Communications (Telephone / Mobiles).
  • Admin Purchases & approvals (PR /OP Release).
  • Stationery (including printed stationery).
  • Complete Property management.
  • Attendance Bio-metric system Management, Overtime, SSA , Leave Management (Directs ) & providing on-time inputs to Payroll.
  • Coordination with Internal and External Audit related to the function
  • Health and safety issues
  • Employee welfare management
  • Coordination with Insurance Company for renewals
  • Group Medical Insurance management and managing employees’ queries related to Insurance.
  • Coordination with Govt bodies like Police, Municipal Corporation and Fire Dept.
  • Coordination with local Industrial Association
  • Maintenance of office equipment.
  • Verification of all bills related to admin and travel.
  • Handling of emergency services.
  • Administration of all branches.
  • Contract Labor Management.
  • Lease and rent agreements for all branches of office facility.
  • Issue of Visa invitation and travel management.
  • Company asset management.
  • Any other activities related to Administration and Welfare

Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline, preferably with Diploma in Facility management or related field with at least 12+ years of hands-on experience in administrative role, with good experience in Employee Relations and Welfare.
  • Manufacturing or Engineering Services environment preferred
  • Ability to build good relationships as trusted advisor to management, proactively managing the stakeholders within the organization.
  • Good knowledge of social compliances.
  • Excellent influencing ability, communication and people management skills with proficiency to interact wit staffs in all levels.
  • Highly motivated with initiative and drive; results-oriented and customer-focused/ Go-getter.
  • Excellent verbal and written Kannada & English communication skills.
  • Local language proficiency is important.
  • Interpersonal Relationship Development Skill.
  • Expertise in Problem solving and decision-making.
  • Planning and organizing skill.
  • Good Analytical Skills.
  • Well matured attitude towards the organization & colleagues.
