Travel Percentage: NegligibleThe Manager, Community Engagement is accountable for new member acquisitions, onboarding, and retention programs for all Corporate Event Marketers members and prospects. This role performs administrative functions to include managing the membership database, coordinating member engagement and retention programs, and connecting with members through a variety of methods including direct phone calls, emails, and member community social media posts. The Manager, Community Engagement is accountable for multiple deadlines, member engagement at events, and will build positive relationships with current and prospective members. The Manager, Community Engagement is open, transparent and works effectively cross-functionally, engaging appropriate stakeholders across the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Drive member acquisition and retention by building a strategic membership pipeline and consistently growing the Corporate Event Marketer (CEMA) community by segment and region.
- Develop and execute integrated recruitment and engagement strategies across phone, email, digital, and in-person channels.
- Achieve organizational retention goals through proactive member engagement, renewal outreach, and reactivation of lapsed members.
- Manage the end-to-end membership journey, including inquiries, onboarding, and join processes, to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience.
- Actively sell and grow group memberships within corporate organizations, increasing year-over-year participation.
- Participate in CEMA events to support recruitment, retention, and relationship-building efforts.
- Manage and motivate volunteer leaders and committees to advance acquisition and retention objectives, specifically the CEMA membership committee.
- Develop, manage, and grow the online CEMA community across the PCMA Community app and social channels, driving engagement and participation.
- Identify and test new digital platforms, tools, and strategies to expand reach and deepen member connections.
- Track, analyze, and report performance against KPIs with timely, accurate reporting.

QualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SIILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on own and delegate tasks.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations in individual and group settings.
- Ability to travel and work nights/weekends when needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years' experience in association membership programs, marketing, or sales organizations.
- Understanding of event marketing and the business events industry.
- An excellent, open, articulate, and personable communicator with diplomatic and persuasive communication skills.
- Experience with Word Press publishing tool.
- Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
- Ability to perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time in performing the work.
- Ability to walk for extended periods of time in performing the work.
- Ability to pull or push objects of varying weights in performing the work.
- Ability to grasp objects utilizing fingers (fine motor manipulation).
- Ability to travel by air or ground transportation as required in performing the work.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
