Good Shepherd Lodge are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager – Community & Allied Health Services to provide leadership across our community aged care program and allied health services. This is a key leadership role responsible for service performance, clinical governance, financial sustainability and growth in a reforming aged care environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive team, you will:

• Lead multidisciplinary teams including Clinical Care Partners, Allied Health professionals (Physiotherapists, Podiatrists) and Administration staff
• Drive operational excellence, service growth and funding compliance
• Ensure high-quality, consumer-directed care aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Provide strong financial oversight, budget management and commercial decision-making
• Build referral pathways and partnerships across the health and community sector

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across community and allied health services
• Manage budgets, financial performance and funding compliance (HCP/Support at Home, CHSP, fee-for-service)
• Lead business development, service growth and change initiatives
• Oversee clinical governance, quality, risk management and accreditation
• Ensure effective delivery of community aged care and allied health services
• Lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, referrers and key stakeholders

Essential Criteria

• Current registration with AHPRA or other professional body registration in a relevant discipline

• Tertiary qualification in health, allied health, nursing, management or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in community aged care, allied health or health services
• Strong understanding of Home Care Packages / Support at Home and/or CHSP
• Proven financial management experience, including budgeting and funding compliance
• Experience leading multidisciplinary clinical and operational teams
• Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to lead change, drive performance and deliver sustainable services

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in business development, service growth or pricing strategies
• Allied health or clinical background with management experience
• Experience working in regional or community-based service environments
