We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Commercial Sales to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team focused on selling fast-speed and reliable internet access solutions to business customers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, telecom industry knowledge, and a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets. This role reports to our VP, Commercial Services and is at the forefront of our expansion into the small and medium business market in the Chesapeake, MD and Dove, DE markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive team success through effective leadership, coaching, and performance management to meet and exceed sales targets.
Create and execute strategic sales initiatives that align with our company's growth objectives.
Leverage data-driven insights through KPIs and CRM tools to optimize team performance, providing daily feedback and training.
Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to increase our market share.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with leadership, marketing, and customer operations teams to consistently drive sales results.
Lead engaging team meetings, conduct field coaching, and deliver meaningful performance reviews.
Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, costing strategies, and internal benchmarking.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred)
5+ years of proven sales leadership experience, preferably in telecommunications or the ISP industry
Demonstrated success in leading quota-driven sales teams
Deep understanding of internet technologies and telecom solutions
Outstanding leadership and communication abilities
Expert knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office
Willingness to travel within our service area
Strong background in B2B and/or B2C sales team management
In-depth knowledge of local market dynamics
Understanding of fiber infrastructure and deployment

Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s education, experience, and qualifications. The total OTE range listed reflects the anticipated combined salary and commission range for this role. $125K - $135K
