The Commercial Manager will support the Commercial Head in driving business growth, optimizing operations and leading commercial activities within the OSRO region, by collaborating with various business units / stakeholders in Principal office.


Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Growth & Development

  • Support Commercial Head in developing regional commercial strategies.
  • Monitor countries’ commercial performance on regular basis.
  • Drive agencies to work strategically on inbound/outbound business growth.
  • Identify issues for underperforming countries and coaching by standardizing sales processes, setting proper KPIs
  • Identify new business opportunities for the OSRO countries, like new service proposals, according to market demand
  • Train and improve Agencies Sales capabilities of market intelligence analysis
  • Contribute to annual Commercial budget setting.
  • Co-lead projects if any.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences.
  • Frequent visiting to agencies in the region.

Must Have:

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Maritime or related discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant shipping experience.

  • Highly numerate with good analytical thinking and quantitative skills.

  • Self-driven with ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) & people management.

  • Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership.

  • Willing to Travel when required.

  • Appointment will commensurate with experience.
