Marketing

Hang Seng’s Marketing function is responsible for formulating marketing strategies and implementing marketing initiatives to build the brand of Hang Seng Bank, acquire new customers, strengthen customer loyalty to build long term relationships, and provide professional marketing support to different businesses to promote a comprehensive suite of products and services offered by the Bank.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our department as Manager, Commercial Banking Marketing, reporting to Head of Commercial Banking Marketing.

Principal responsibilities

  • Drive and formulate development and delivery of marketing strategies and activities for the Bank’s commercial banking products / services, facilitating capturing business opportunities, achieving business and marketing objectives set for brand building, acquisition, usage and ROI.
  • Deliver effective and measurable multi-channel marketing campaigns for acquisition, portfolio growth, product penetration and cross-selling for business segments.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign delivery, including briefing, agency/vendor management, content development, approvals, launch, optimization and performance reporting.
  • Lead and drive communications with various internal/ external stakeholders, to discuss and resolve different implementation issues.
  • Leverage on Martech tools to optimize delivering campaigns and measurements, e.g. tag management, marketing automation, paid media tracking.
  • Ensure marketing materials developed comply with the brand guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements and adopt a consistent and robust approach to manage resources and risks
  • Facilitate effective communication between marketing, internal stakeholders and risk stewards.
  • Apply best practice of governance process, and anticipate, manage and mitigate project risks and use of resources
  • Monitor program progress/ effectiveness and conduct post-program evaluation for future improvement

Requirements

  • University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Solid experience in Marketing, with exposure to financial institutions and knowledge of banking. Exposure to new-to-bank customer acquisition, with hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media is a definite advantage
  • All rounded marketing skills with good understanding of latest developments in the marketing and media scene, together with proven experience in running end to end marketing programs
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving, negotiation and project management skills
  • Solid experience in optimizing use of digital platforms to bring out the potentials of omni- channels to customers.
  • Strong self-motivation and customer orientation, with the ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Resourceful, with excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, Putonghua is a definite advantage
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
