Base Salary:
$75,000
to $125,000 annually DOE
Commission:
Target
commission of 60,000 annually

Job Summary
The Manager, Agent Channel Sales, is
responsible for selling telecommunications and network connectivity services by
creating and managing the relationships with independent technology agents who
sell business accounts. This role
will manage a team of
Channel Partner Support Specialists with duties including quoting, Salesforce
data input, ordering and partner/customer updates on pending orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Quoting, Order Management & Service Delivery
·
Manage new sales quotes that are not served
through automation, including formulating contracts, quotations and pricing,
product research, customer relations, follow-up, coordinating due dates,
placing service orders, managing and communicating test and turn up of
circuits, etc.

Ensure accurate order processing and service
delivery for operations.
·
Design and create customer network
configurations with Sales Engineering and agents.
Channel Partner & Agent Relationship Management
·
Assist in identifying opportunities within the
company's current markets with Agents.
·
Develop and maintain relationships with support
staff within our Master Agents including engineers, access managers and other
departments seeking Channel support and their leadership.
·
Manage a wide variety of customer support,
including resolving billing issues, customer inquiries, Agent customer turn-up
and general customer satisfaction and relations.
·
Lead QBRs with assigned large Master agents.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
·
Manage the Channel Partner Support Specialists
and report metrics on quoting and order activity.
·
Ensure effective communications are maintained
within areas of responsibility.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Internal Communications
·
Lead, identify and manage internal communication
needs, disseminate information regarding relevant activities and obtain
appropriate corporate approvals.
·
Work with sales management, product management,
IT, regulatory, corporate marketing, and other inter-departmental stakeholders,
by managing resources and timeframes required to complete and recommend
customer solutions, requirements, pricing, and implementation.
Other Duties

Performs other duties as
required to support the business and evolving organization.
Required Qualifications:
·
High
school diploma or GED.
·
Bachelor’s
degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
·
Minimum
of ten (10) years in telecom or technology sales with five (5) years selling in
telecom in “The Channel”.
·
Minimum
of seven (7) years in technology sales management.
·
Strong
prospecting, selling, and closing skills at a management level.
·
Must be
able to demonstrate a business-to-business telecom sales record at a high level
of achievement with management experience.
·
Experience
selling and managing accounts that have executive interaction where cultivating
larger, strategic relationships key.
·
Proficiency
in Salesforce.com.
·
Ability
to travel as needed within the United States.
·
Has a
working knowledge of Ethernet, optical waves, dark fiber, and broadband and
voice services.
·
Must have and maintain a valid
driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:

Masters’ degree (MBA) preferred.

Work Environment
Work is performed in an office setting with
exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer,
keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work is primarily a
modern office setting.
